Client Services Director

Smartsheet is a leading work management platform helping teams automate work, uncover insights, and scale. The Client Services Director will own the end-to-end Professional Services sales cycle, drive value-based selling for enterprise customers, influence executive stakeholders, and partner with account teams to expand platform adoption and long-term customer value.

Skills

  • Proven services/solutions quota experience for enterprise customers
  • History of closing Professional Services opportunities > $250k (seven-figure TCV a plus)
  • Value-based selling expertise (Smartsheet Value Selling, MEDDIC, Challenger)
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-solution deals
  • Territory management and account planning across large enterprise
  • Strong executive engagement and negotiation skills
  • Pipeline and forecast hygiene using Salesforce and Clari
  • Willingness to travel up to 40–50%

Responsibilities

  • Own services sales cycle from qualification through signed Statement of Work (SOW), with or without AE/SE support
  • Uplevel account and customer conversations to influence platform adoption and multi-solution expansion
  • Apply value-led selling frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, Smartsheet Value Selling) to connect priorities to outcomes and ROI
  • Develop trusted executive relationships to accelerate deals and remove procurement/decision friction
  • Generate and progress pipeline, maintaining ~3x coverage and advancing stalled pursuits with mutual action plans
  • Forecast accurately using Salesforce and Clari; surface risks and course-correct to protect the quarter
  • Contribute thought leadership, mentor peers, and inform GTM offers, packaging, and playbooks

Education

  • BA/BS required
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
