Smartsheet is a long-established SaaS leader that helps teams manage work, automate processes, and scale collaboration. The company seeks an Enterprise Account Executive for Strategic Accounts to drive executive engagement, sell solutions into Global 2000 accounts in the West territory, and deliver significant growth through new business and expansion.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise (G2K) software solution sales experience
  • Strong pipeline development, hunting, and territory management skills
  • Experience with value-selling methodologies and MEDDICC
  • Executive-level engagement and presentation abilities
  • Data-driven decision making using PLG signals and CRM data

Responsibilities

  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual software and services sales quotas
  • Forecast effectively, manage a diverse pipeline, and meet performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain multi-year account plans and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive outcomes
  • Engage executives (VP+, C-suite) and key decision-makers to win and expand deals
  • Execute both transactional land/expand and value-based solution selling motions
  • Leverage MEDDICC and data/PLG signals throughout the sales process
  • Deliver a positive customer experience across the customer journey
  • Travel for face-to-face customer engagement (approximately 30%-50%)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
