Account Executive, Net New

Cleo is an established B2B SaaS provider focused on EDI and ecosystem integrations, serving thousands of clients with a high retention rate. The Account Executive (Net New) will become a product expert and drive net-new business by building pipeline, managing full sales cycles, and collaborating with SDRs and Account Managers to deliver solutions that meet client needs and budgets.

Skills

  • Experience with EDI in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven inside or outside sales experience (SDR/BDR or Account Executive background)
  • Strong prospecting, pipeline development, and closing skills
  • Confident verbal and written communication across in-person, phone, and online channels
  • Ability and willingness to travel 30%–40%
  • Relationship-building and consultative selling capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Educate and advise prospective clients to build trusted customer relationships
  • Execute the full sales process from lead qualification to appointment setting to close
  • Gather client feedback and refine messaging to improve sales outcomes
  • Conduct client meetings to assess needs and finalize sales execution
  • Collaborate with SDRs and Account Managers to design client programs that meet needs and budgets
  • Negotiate contracts, resolve client issues, and ensure commitments and deadlines are met
  • Monitor and report on program progress and sales metrics

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
