Smartsheet is a global work management platform helping teams automate manual work, uncover insights, and scale. The company is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for Strategic Accounts to drive executive engagement, sell solutions, and deliver substantial software and services growth across a defined set of Global 2000 accounts in the West territory.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise (Global 2000) complex software solution sales experience
  • Track record of consistently exceeding quota
  • Experience with value-selling methodologies (e.g., Force Management, Sandler, Value Selling Framework)
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage VP+/C-suite
  • Data-driven approach leveraging PLG signals and pipeline analytics
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to build and execute strategic account plans and manage cross-functional deals

Responsibilities

  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual software and services sales quotas
  • Forecast and manage a diverse pipeline, meeting performance metrics
  • Provide account and selling team leadership; develop multi-year account strategies and actionable account plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal experts and external partners to deliver customer outcomes
  • Engage LOB, functional areas, and IT stakeholders; build relationships with VP+ and C-suite executives
  • Execute both land/expand transactional and value-based solution selling motions
  • Leverage MEDDICC during the sales process and use PLG signals to drive sales strategy
  • Travel for face-to-face customer engagement (approx. 30%-50%)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience considered
