Senior Account Executive, Enterprise

Flexport is a technology-driven freight forwarder and supply chain platform transforming global trade. They are hiring a Senior Account Executive, Enterprise to own and grow a book of business by selling end-to-end supply chain and fulfillment solutions, managing complex deals, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class customer outcomes.

Skills

  • Proven ability in full-cycle sales from prospecting to close with quota ownership
  • Deep knowledge of freight, logistics, and supply chain operations
  • Experience selling international freight forwarding or supply chain technology solutions
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals with executives
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Structured sales process and pipeline management with CRM usage
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings and site visits

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a book of business through net-new acquisition and cross-sell/upsell to meet revenue targets
  • Prospect and qualify ideal clients independently and in partnership with SDRs
  • Lead discovery sessions and consultative sales cycles to understand client supply chain needs
  • Plan and run Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with existing clients to drive value and retention
  • Design and present value-driven solutions across Flexport’s product suite (ocean, air, trucking, customs, fulfillment)
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Customs, Ocean, Air, Trucking, etc.) to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
  • Manage customer onboarding and act as a single point of contact across implementation
  • Represent sales leadership when needed and provide coaching and mentorship to teammates
  • Plan and support client events and in-person interactions, including site visits and warehouse tours

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience in sales or logistics
  • Relevant industry certifications (preferred but not required)
