Specialty Sales Representative - Arlington, VA

ARS Pharmaceuticals is a fast-growing biotech focused on innovative products to improve patient outcomes, recently launching an intranasal epinephrine product. The company seeks a field-based Specialty Sales Representative to support launch activities, drive brand recognition and adoption across assigned accounts, and build strong relationships with HCPs, pharmacists, hospital staff, and payers within the Arlington, VA territory.

Skills

  • Proven field-based account management and specialty/pharma sales experience
  • Strong clinical and scientific acumen to present disease-state and product data
  • Experience navigating payer dynamics and securing formulary/access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for in-person and virtual interactions
  • Proficiency with tools such as Veeva and Tableau and other reporting/call execution tech
  • Ability to build credibility with KOLs, prescribers, and multi-disciplinary hospital teams
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand recognition and product adoption to meet or exceed territory business objectives
  • Engage HCPs, pharmacists, nurses, hospital administrators and office staff with balanced clinical and product messaging
  • Deliver live and virtual customer presentations and educational engagements
  • Develop and execute detailed account plans in coordination with market access and sales operations
  • Navigate payer landscapes and work to secure formulary and access within national, regional and local payers and closed systems/IDNs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate HUB support and payer tools for patient access
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Travel within territory and to meetings/conferences (up to and potentially exceeding 25–50% annually)
  • Maintain required credentialing and site access (background checks, drug screens, immunizations as needed)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (business or life sciences preferred) or equivalent experience
  • MBA or MS preferred
