Senior Manager, Sales Personnel Performance and Capacity

Juul Labs is focused on transitioning adult smokers away from combustible cigarettes through research, design, and innovation. The Senior Manager, Commercial Personnel Performance and Capacity will lead governance of U.S. commercial incentive programs, performance evaluation processes, and territory/capacity planning to ensure fair workload, motivate high performance, and align rewards with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, govern, and optimize U.S. commercial incentive programs including variable plans, quota setting, bonuses, and special incentives
  • Lead end-to-end performance evaluation processes: set standards, facilitate calibration, and manage review cycles
  • Benchmark program effectiveness and recommend data-driven changes to improve motivation and retention
  • Monitor and audit program compliance and accuracy of incentive calculations and awards
  • Create and maintain policies, documentation, and decision trees for plan changes, exceptions, and disputes
  • Coach managers on plan mechanics, KPIs, and evaluation standards to ensure transparent communication
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM, Workday HCM, and reporting tools to deliver scorecards, dashboards, and analytics
  • Perform territory and account allocation analysis to balance workloads and support resource planning
  • Develop territory planning playbooks and provide scenario recommendations for reassignments and new hires
  • Coordinate post-program analysis and root-cause reviews to inform future quotas and incentive design

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Finance, or related field (required)
  • Advanced degree (MBA/MA) preferred but not required
