Consolidated Concepts (a Buyers Edge Platform brand) helps multi-unit restaurants optimize procurement and reduce costs through collective purchasing, digital procurement, and supply chain solutions. The Business Development Director will drive new business across North America—focusing on chain restaurant and foodservice accounts—by developing sales strategy, acquiring clients, and managing relationships to expand market presence and revenue.

Skills

  • Proven B2B sales experience in restaurant / foodservice accounts
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • CRM proficiency (tracking, reporting, pipeline management)
  • Ability to research and qualify target accounts and decision-makers
  • Comfortable presenting to multi-unit and corporate stakeholders
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing paperwork to close deals
  • Willingness and ability to travel ~25% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, qualify, and close new business opportunities with chain restaurants and foodservice operators
  • Develop and execute territory and sales strategies to meet revenue goals
  • Conduct introductory and follow-up calls, face-to-face meetings, and webinars to engage prospects
  • Prepare, present, and drive proposals and contract paperwork to expedite closes
  • Maintain and update all lead and client information in CRM
  • Collaborate with support and sales teams to meet client requirements and ensure smooth onboarding
  • Attend conferences, industry events, and client meetings to expand network and pipeline
  • Grow existing customer value while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent sales experience
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
