Job Description

Please Note: This position will report into our Houston office, this is not a remote position

The Loan Sales Support will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to assist the Retail Inside Sales Team. The overall goal and intent are to increase efficiency and quality of the sales team loan pipeline.  Production Partner’s primary role is to ensure a seamless transition of quality application submission to opening. This position is located in our Houston Office, Monday through Friday.

 Essential Functions/Specific Duties:

  • Prepare and review all incoming application packages for completeness and compile/organize compliance documents in adherence with federal and LBF guidelines
  • Check on outstanding applications in Velocify to ensure they are returned on time either with a notary service or direct from the borrowers
  • Set up e-sign applications and printed applications for sales team and deliver to borrower via email or overnight (for printed apps).  Ensure complete application before submitting to the Intake department
  • Check the package for complete documentation and ensure that all pages have been signed appropriately
  • Ensure that each package includes counseling certificate and any compliant cover letters and required Letters of Explanation. File must meet minimum standards to submit to Intake
  • Production Partner tracks the application from signing date until it’s received in the branch. Communicates with notaries as necessary to ensure prompt delivery
  • Completed credit card authorization form/appraisal waiver
  • Case transfer letter – if applicable
  • Check daily mail
  • Make ongoing contact/relationship with borrowers, in conjunction with the loan officer, to gather documents and submit a complete file to opening
  • Any other job responsibilities requested by management

 

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years mortgage experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving, analysis and solution oriented
  • Work as a team player
  • Must have reliable transportation to work in the office Monday - Friday

  • Target base salary range is $43 - 45K which is based on various factors including skills and work experience.
