Market Development Executive, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)

Silvus Technologies delivers advanced MANET radios and a proprietary MN-MIMO waveform for mission-critical communications across defense, law enforcement, and commercial events. Following acquisition by Motorola Solutions, Silvus is scaling its Strategic Growth organization and seeks a senior Market Development Executive (USSOCOM) to shape requirements, build strategic SOF relationships, and position Silvus capabilities in future Special Operations acquisition and rapid fielding efforts.

Skills

  • Established, verifiable network of senior contacts within USSOCOM and Component Commands
  • Proven experience shaping requirements and influencing acquisition pathways in SOF/DoD
  • Strong strategic planning and stakeholder alignment capabilities
  • Technical familiarity with tactical communications, MANET/MN-MIMO, EW, and low-SWaP edge networking concepts
  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and earn trust as a credible advisor in SOF communities
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Silvus’ senior market-shaping leader across the Special Operations enterprise, influencing requirements and sponsorship within USSOCOM and Component Commands.
  • Drive early visibility and position Silvus in emerging SOF Programs of Record, rapid acquisition pathways, and operational fielding initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional pursuit strategy as the market anchor for USSOCOM, aligning Sales, Engineering, Product, Capture, and Executive stakeholders.
  • Provide continuous market intelligence on SOF communications, tactical networking, and spectrum operations to inform strategy and product alignment.
  • Represent Silvus at senior SOF, DoD, and industry forums to promote MN-MIMO waveform and spectrum dominance capabilities.
  • Develop and execute the USSOCOM Market Development Plan with shaping objectives, key relationships, and pursuit milestones.
  • Ensure multi-year program opportunities are identified and matured for Business Development and Account Sales handoff.
  • Travel as required (up to 50%) to sustain engagement with SOF customers, demonstrations, and events.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (preferred)
