Account Development Manager

Accredited Labs is a national network of accredited calibration providers delivering precision calibration services with local relationships and consistent, compliant processes. We are looking for an Account Development Manager to own inbound leads, convert transactional opportunities, qualify and advance larger deals to senior sellers, and maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene.

Skills

  • 2–3 years inside sales, sales development, or service-based commercial experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for customer engagement
  • Digital marketing skills for outreach (email campaigns, content presentation)
  • Familiarity with quoting processes and basic equipment sizing
  • CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management
  • Ability to learn technical product concepts without being a deep subject-matter expert
  • Organized, persistent, and responsive with strong follow-up habits

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound leads and initial customer outreach
  • Engage customers to understand needs, intent, and technical context
  • Qualify opportunities using structured frameworks (e.g., BANT)
  • Perform basic equipment sizing and capability matching
  • Generate fast, accurate quotes for transactional opportunities
  • Independently own and close smaller/transactional deals
  • Advance larger or complex opportunities to senior sellers with clear context
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline with timely follow-up and accurate data entry
  • Collaborate closely with a Senior Strategic Account Executive for coaching and escalations
  • Meet personal quota and participate in incentive programs tied to direct sales and referrals

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
  • Sales or technical certifications considered a plus
