Senior Business Development Manager - Cross - Border Payments, FX

Convera is a global leader in cross-border payments, providing FX risk management and payment solutions to businesses worldwide. The Senior Business Development Manager will drive revenue by acquiring and growing strategic B2B relationships, advising clients on FX strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service and product adoption.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of FX markets, hedging instruments, and international payment flows
  • Proven B2B sales and negotiation expertise
  • Client relationship management and consultative selling
  • Familiarity with global payments regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans and forecast revenue

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients across financial institutions, corporates, e-commerce, and B2B platforms.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on FX risk management and cross-border payment strategies.
  • Sell consultatively Convera’s FX and payments products including spot, forwards, hedging, and payment automation.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to position Convera as a thought leader.
  • Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development best practices.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) or relevant certifications preferred
