Skills
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. employment laws and compliance requirements
- Proven experience conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues
- HRIS proficiency (Workday preferred) and comfort with HR metrics/analytics
- Experience supporting multi-site and high-volume/warehouse environments
- Strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyze data and make business-aligned recommendations
- Experience with contingent workforce management and FLSA/timekeeping audits
Responsibilities
- Conduct impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and policy violations and document findings
- Coach and advise managers on complex employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with employment laws (ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, FLSA) and perform regular audits
- Develop and deliver HR and compliance training programs
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Support workforce planning, contingent workforce management, and high-volume operations needs
- Lead special projects related to culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee experience
- Facilitate exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to inform retention strategies
- Streamline HR processes and improve workflows to increase efficiency
- Travel up to 30% within the U.S. to support multi-site operations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification preferred
