Account Executive - In-Territory (Austin, TX)

Justworks is a mission-driven company that simplifies HR for small businesses through a modern platform and supportive team culture. The Austin in-territory Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle, build an owned book of business, prospect actively within the Austin entrepreneurial community, and close new customers while serving as an advocate for customer needs internally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an owned book of business and full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Establish and grow a presence in the Austin territory through market research, networking, and events
  • Proactively prospect using cold outreach, research, and sales tools to generate pipeline
  • Qualify opportunities, present value propositions, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Represent customer needs internally and suggest improvements to product and processes
  • Serve as an ambassador for Justworks and maintain deep product knowledge
  • Travel within the Austin and Greater Austin area (approx. 25%) for meetings and events
  • Perform other duties as needed to support departmental and organizational goals

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Relevant sales training or certifications a plus
  • Continued professional development encouraged
