Senior Territory Account Executive - job 1 of 2

Cloudflare is a global cloud and security company building a better Internet. The Senior Territory Account Executive will target mid-market accounts in Indiana to acquire new customers, expand existing accounts, and work closely with partners and cross-functional teams to drive adoption of Cloudflare’s platform and security solutions.

Skills

  • Proven B2B sales experience (3+ years) with consistent quota attainment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to engage security, network, and development teams.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC), Tableau, G Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Pipeline development, forecasting, and contract negotiation experience.
  • Partner/channel engagement and enablement experience.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills to assess use and drive ROI conversations.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Drive new logo acquisition, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and renewals within assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent outreach and account nurturing.
  • Engage partners for co-selling, account mapping, and partner enablement in the region.
  • Present Cloudflare solutions and value propositions to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Forecast sales outcomes accurately and manage next-step expectations through the sales cycle.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to ensure customer adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Collaborate with solution engineers, customer success, and sales operations to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Monitor customer usage and deliver strategic business reviews with recommendations.
  • Travel up to 25% as needed for customer and partner engagements.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
