Global Compensation COE Director

Veeam is a global leader in data resilience protecting hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. The Global Compensation COE Director will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of compensation programs across 40+ countries, driving data-driven pay strategies, market benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and cross-functional enablement to support business growth.

Skills

  • Advanced data analysis and modeling skills to synthesize large datasets and inform pay decisions
  • Expert-level Excel and scenario planning capabilities
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills for leadership communications
  • Experience with Workday or comparable HRIS compensation modules
  • Deep knowledge of salary benchmarking, survey methodologies, and job architecture
  • Program and project management experience across global initiatives
  • Ability to translate complex compensation concepts into clear guidance for HR and business leaders

Responsibilities

  • Lead bi-annual pay planning cycles (merit, promotions, variable pay) with a focus on data integrity and clear communications
  • Develop and maintain market-aligned pay ranges and salary structures using multi-source benchmarking
  • Conduct market competitiveness and internal pay equity analyses and recommend data-driven updates
  • Maintain global job architecture and leveling framework and advise HR partners and management
  • Design and support recognition programs and lead pay equity audits with statistical rigor
  • Manage PMO tasks for compensation projects, ensuring timelines and stakeholder communications
  • Partner with HRIS to optimize systems and automate compensation processes (Workday experience preferred)
  • Create compensation education materials and tools for TAPs, HRBPs, managers, and employees
  • Deliver concise, actionable updates and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Lead vendor selection and contract evaluation including SOWs and RFPs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (required)
  • MBA or advanced degree (preferred)
