The Technical Recruiter will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a high-performing engineering team at an early-stage AI infrastructure startup. This position offers the chance to work closely with the founding team to shape hiring strategy, define culture, and execute on talent acquisition for elite technical candidates. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, sourcing, evaluating, and closing top-tier engineering talent while building strong pipelines and maintaining a high level of candidate experience. The role requires both strategic insight and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment. Success in this position directly impacts the growth trajectory of the company and the quality of its technical workforce.
· Own the end-to-end recruitment process for engineering and technical roles, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
· Identify, evaluate, and engage elite technical candidates, including top performers from competitions and leading startups.
· Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines to support fast-paced hiring needs.
· Collaborate closely with founders on hiring strategy, team composition, and role definition.
· Represent the company effectively to candidates, conveying its vision, culture, and opportunities.
· Expand recruitment efforts to include non-technical roles as the organization grows.
· Drive improvements in recruitment processes, metrics, and candidate experience.
· 3+ years of experience recruiting for engineering or highly technical roles (flexible for exceptional performers).
· Proven track record of sourcing and closing elite technical talent.
· Strong technical literacy and ability to engage with candidates on deep technical topics.
· Established network within the startup and engineering communities.
· Experience running independent full-cycle recruiting processes from start to finish.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and candidate-closing skills.
· Preference for in-office candidates, though exceptional remote candidates may be considered.
· Competitive base salary of $100,000–$180,000 per year.
