Skills
- 1–2+ years HR Generalist or similar HR experience
- Solid foundation in HR principles, compliance, and best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working remotely and during East Coast hours
- Experience with ADP (HRIS) and Greenhouse (ATS) is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to follow a chain of command
Responsibilities
- Act as a friendly, approachable first point of contact for employees and managers
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes and maintain employee lifecycle records
- Administer benefits and support benefits-related employee questions
- Manage employee relations issues and escalate appropriately
- Maintain and update employee data in HRIS (ADP) and support ATS (Greenhouse) operations
- Assist with policy development, documentation, and clear employee communications
- Balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and support peak periods
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and HR leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required unless equivalent substantial HR experience can be demonstrated
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred but not required; employer support available
