Associate Account Executive

CTC (Common Thread Collective) is a growth-focused eCommerce agency obsessed with building legendary brands. The Associate Account Executive will manage a defined book of eCommerce clients, drive upsell and renewal revenue, and act as a trusted advisor—combining strategic account management with proactive sales execution to expand client partnerships and deliver measurable business impact.

Skills

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce) for pipeline management and forecasting
  • Experience using eCommerce and analytics tools (Shopify, Google Analytics, Triple Whale, Statlas)
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube) and acquisition economics
  • Strong proposal, contract, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with sales enablement and automation tools (Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with consultative selling ability
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within an assigned client portfolio.
  • Maintain and forecast an active upsell pipeline, meeting monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Analyze account performance and market trends to recommend new channels, creative solutions, and strategic programs.
  • Collaborate with Growth Strategy, Creative, Email, and Operations to build data-driven proposals and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Serve as primary client contact for day-to-day communications, cultivating trust and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare and own contracts and proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and internal guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot client challenges and coordinate cross-functional responses to resolve issues quickly.
  • Model operational discipline: track deliverables, maintain processes, and ensure execution quality and consistency.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing learning in eCommerce and digital marketing platforms

Benefits

  • Base salary $60,000–$70,000 plus performance bonus (up to $65k annual bonus; $130k OTE)
