Account Manager

Acquia is a leader in digital experience built on open source Drupal, helping global brands deliver impactful customer experiences. The Global Account Manager will own strategic development for a named set of large customers, driving subscription renewals, incremental subscription and services revenue, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver outcome-oriented digital experience solutions.

Skills

  • 8+ years enterprise software/subscription sales experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Strong technical acumen with ability to present and sell complex software and infrastructure solutions
  • Experience with DXP/CMS or similar digital experience platforms (Drupal knowledge a plus)
  • Proficient with Salesforce and process-oriented sales methodologies
  • Experience operating as a remote member of a distributed sales team
  • Proactive, disciplined, persistent style with strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences
  • Familiarity with Value Selling and/or Challenger sales methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-LOB account growth strategy for a portfolio of large, named customers
  • Lead cross-functional teams and partner relationships to design and deliver outcome-oriented digital experience solutions
  • Drive subscription renewals, upsell and expansion to achieve quota and revenue objectives
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across technical teams and C-level executives to align IT and business outcomes
  • Ensure technology and delivery expectations are met, driving improvements in NPS and customer satisfaction
  • Use Salesforce to track pipeline, forecast, and report on account health and opportunities
  • Perform whitespace mapping and execute sales plays to capture net-new and incremental business
  • Travel as required to support customer engagements and sales activities
