Senior HR Generalist

Voyager Technologies is a mission-driven defense, national security and space technology company building transformative, mission-critical solutions. The Senior HR Generalist will drive HR operational excellence by streamlining programs and processes, supporting a highly technical workforce, and improving the overall employee experience across talent, payroll, compliance and employee relations.

Skills

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and resolving payroll inquiries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact
  • Experience working with technical, engineering, or defense-oriented employees

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for employee inquiries and triage issues appropriately
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality and data integrity
  • Generate and analyze HRIS reports to support audits and governmental reporting
  • Assist and troubleshoot payroll processes and respond to payroll questions
  • Support onboarding, offboarding and new hire orientation activities
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance and disciplinary matters
  • Administer compensation, benefits, leave and occupational health & safety programs
  • Deliver training, development and employee recognition initiatives
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws
  • Recommend updates to HR policies and apply best practices in talent management

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Relevant HR certifications (preferred but not required)
