- Active or attainable DoD Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Proven experience managing engineering projects through full lifecycle
- Strong systems engineering background and technical decision-making
- Experience with IMP/IMS, Earned Value Management (EVM), and EVMS-compliant contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Project
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead and integrator for assigned defense and aerospace projects
- Develop, maintain, and execute integrated master schedules (IMP/IMS) with engineering and program management
- Manage and lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), prioritize tasks and allocate resources across disciplines
- Coordinate cross-disciplinary engineering inputs (mechanical, electrical, systems, software) and manage interfaces
- Drive technical risk and opportunity management planning and mitigation strategies
- Prepare statements of work (SOWs) and manage subcontract technical execution and oversight
- Lead hardware procurement planning and trade studies for make/buy decisions
- Support customer technical interchange meetings and design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Author and review engineering documentation including ICDs, ECNs, and test plans
- Ensure compliance with CDRLs, contract deliverables, and program requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in systems, aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or related STEM field (required)
- Master's in systems engineering or related discipline preferred (may substitute for 1 year experience)
