Responsibilities
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent component flow and meet customer demand
- Resolve procurement and inventory control issues with Engineering and Operations
- Select and manage contract manufacturing suppliers
- Develop and lead the Supply Chain organization using dashboards and performance metrics
- Establish supplier quoting processes to support customer proposals
- Negotiate supplier contracts with focus on cost reduction and spend aggregation
- Develop tools to model make/buy and other operational/strategic decisions
- Create and implement supplier risk mitigation plans to protect cost and schedule
- Manage inventory processes including cycle counting, planning parameters and demand planning
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field (required)
- Advanced degree or certifications in supply chain/operations (preferred)
