Enterprise Account Executive (US - Federal Veterans Affairs)

Verkada is a fast-growing provider of integrated cloud-based physical security products (video, access control, sensors, alarms, workplace, intercom) trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide. We are seeking an experienced, hunter-style Enterprise Account Executive to own business development and net-new customer acquisition within Federal accounts, specifically covering the Department of Veterans Affairs, driving territory strategy, channel engagement, and quota attainment.

Skills

  • Proven track record in quota-carrying enterprise sales and new business acquisition
  • Minimum 2+ years selling technical solutions to the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Experience selling complex hardware/software or SaaS solutions in security, networking, or related domains
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to navigate long, multi-stakeholder federal procurement cycles
  • Experience engaging and selling through channel partners
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC methodology preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (>50%)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan focused on Federal accounts and the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including demos, trials, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Consistently achieve quarterly quota with emphasis on net-new logos (target: at least 1 qualified net-new logo per quarter)
  • Partner with channel sales teams to create and execute partner-led initiatives and secure a minimum of 5 deal registrations per quarter
  • Drive customer expansion and retention through executive briefings, quarterly business reviews, and identifying upsell opportunities
  • Represent Verkada at industry conferences, events, and customer engagements to grow market presence
  • Provide accurate pipeline forecasting, account analysis, and regular revenue updates to leadership
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required (estimated >50% travel)

Education

  • BS/BA strongly preferred
  • Relevant technical or business degree a plus
  • Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.
