Leap Health is seeking a Vice President, Health Plan Sales to lead our go-to-market strategy with national and regional health plans and TPAs.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for developing new payer relationships, structuring partnerships across fully insured and self-funded lines of business, and driving growth through both direct sales and channel collaborations.
You will shape Leap’s payer distribution model from the ground up—working cross-functionally to design partnership structures, refine value propositions, and close deals that expand access to our infusion benefit solution.
Own Leap’s payer sales strategy — develop a comprehensive plan to secure distribution and contracting with national and regional health plans and payer- owned TPAs.
Lead B2B sales cycles from prospecting to close, managing multiple stakeholders including network, clinical operations, pharmacy, medical management, and innovation teams.
Develop embedded and reseller partnerships with payers, including their TPAs, and care management solutions to drive scale and integrated workflows.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Implementation,Marketing, and Employer Sales to design scalable partnership models and ensure successful launches.
Serve as the voice of the payer internally—informing product roadmap, data reporting, and contracting strategies.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce and data-driven forecasting; consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Represent Leap Health externally at industry conferences, partner meetings, and executive forums.
8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development within digital health, value-based care, or payer/TPA organizations.
Proven success selling to or partnering with national/regional health plans, with a deep understanding of payer economics, network management, and specialty drug cost drivers.
Quantifiable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets at an early stage company
Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (VP/C-suite).
Experience negotiating complex contracts, including shared-savings, performance-based, and embedded partnership models.
Strategic thinker with exceptional operational follow-through; comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Mission-driven orientation and passion for improving access, affordability, and patient experience in specialty care.
Ability to travel nationally.
