Responsibilities
- Build and maintain partnerships with the General Manager, leadership team, HR department, and employees through regular collaboration
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to prioritize staffing needs and stay aware of open positions
- Coordinate orientation and onboarding to ensure timely completion of HR and benefits paperwork
- Maintain accurate employee timecards and records to support payroll reporting
- Organize company-sponsored activities and events to foster teamwork and camaraderie
- Coach, train, and advise HR Associates and leadership on HR best practices and employment law changes
- Partner with management on hiring, training, work assignments, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and employee relations
- Manage separations, analyze turnover data, and implement strategies to improve retention and the employee experience
- Support HR Administrators and Generalists with people initiatives and employee questions as needed
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Relevant HR certifications or coursework a plus
