Regular work schedule is Monday-Friday and is in office.
The rate of pay starts at $24.60 per hour, eligible for overtime.

General Definition of Work
Performs professional Human Resources work with an emphasis on coordinating and administering employee training and development initiatives. This position manages training logistics, vendor relationships, compliance tracking, and employee development records to ensure Town staff meet required and developmental training standards. Work is performed under the general direction of the Human Resources Director.

Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
Knowledge of HR compliance, recordkeeping, and employment-related regulations.
Ability to work effectively with external vendors and consultants.
Strong communication and tracking/reporting abilities.
Familiarity with learning management systems or similar platforms preferred.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience in Human Resources, with emphasis in: Training coordination and compliance tracking, Onboarding and orientation, Performance management administration, and HR reporting and recordkeeping.
Experience working with outside training vendors or consultants to coordinate and monitor training programs.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other training record systems preferred.
Municipal or public sector experience preferred, with knowledge of compliance requirements applicable to local government.
Professional certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent is desirable or expected within two (2) to three (3) years of hire.

Special Requirements
Valid driver's license in the State of Tennessee.
Ability to obtain Train the Trainer certifications.
Professional certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent is desirable or expected within two (2) to three (3) years of hire.
