In this role, you will drive exceptional candidate experiences, build diverse and high-quality candidate pipelines, and help us attract top-tier technical talent. The ideal candidate is passionate about partnering with our technical hiring team and supporting Substack’s mission to build a world-class engineering team.
Drive Technical Recruitment Processes: Lead end-to-end recruitment activities from role kick-offs and sourcing to interviews, debriefs, and offers, ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate journey.
Develop Diverse Talent Pipelines: Implement inclusive sourcing strategies and leverage innovative channels to build a diverse pool of qualified candidates for current and future technical roles.
Enhance Candidate Experience: Design and deliver a highly engaging, professional, and memorable experience that attracts and retains top talent.
Data-Driven Recruitment: Establish, monitor, and analyze key recruiting metrics to optimize processes, forecast hiring needs, and ensure continuous improvement.
4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proven ability to manage a high requisition volume while maintaining quality and candidate engagement.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to assess technical skills effectively.
Ability to cultivate long-term relationships both internally and externally.
Experience crafting innovative recruitment strategies and understanding of industry trends, best practices, and diversity-focused recruiting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with ATS tools such as Ashby or similar platforms is preferred.
Substack offers a competitive compensation package that includes salary, equity, and exceptional benefits. Our cash compensation salary range for this role is $110,000 to $135,000/year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
