Manager, Account Executives (Chicago)

Justworks is a growing HR and payroll platform that helps small and mid-sized businesses solve HR challenges. They are seeking a data-driven, motivating Sales Manager to hire, develop, and lead a high-performing Account Executive team to hit revenue goals while maintaining strong culture and employee engagement.

Skills

  • Proven sales management and team coaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes: prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, closing
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM best practices
  • Familiarity with sales enablement and conversation intelligence tools (e.g., Gong)
  • Comfort using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft or similar platforms
  • Data-driven decision-making and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills
  • Experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) or related industry preferred
  • Commitment to DEIB initiatives and inclusive leadership

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, and train high-performing Account Executives aligned to company values and methodology
  • Manage day-to-day performance and deliver regular performance reviews for direct reports
  • Coach and develop reps to improve quota attainment and skill levels
  • Track sales metrics, maintain CRM hygiene, and report performance to leadership
  • Create and implement sales qualification processes and performance improvement plans
  • Plan and run team meetings, contests, and motivational initiatives to maintain engagement
  • Ensure proper use of Salesforce and other sales tools and integrations
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on forecasting, process improvements, and go-to-market initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience in sales leadership accepted
