Senior Human Resources Manager, Fulfillment

Flexport is a technology-driven freight-forwarding and logistics company transforming global trade. We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support corporate and high-volume fulfillment operations in Los Angeles, delivering employee relations, compliance, performance management, and workforce optimization across multi-site environments.

Skills

  • Strong employee relations and formal investigation experience
  • Thorough knowledge of US employment laws and compliance (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, EEO)
  • Experience supporting multi-site and high-volume/warehouse operations
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and provide strategic recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and coaching skills
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and policy violations and document findings
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts, coach managers on performance management and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws (ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, FLSA) and conduct regular audits
  • Maintain and update employee records, handbooks, and HR policies
  • Develop and deliver compliance and HR training programs
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
  • Support organizational change, compensation/benefits analysis, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Lead special projects related to culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee experience
  • Facilitate exit interviews and analyze turnover trends
  • Partner with Operations leadership on workforce planning for warehouse and contingent workforce needs
  • Travel up to ~30% domestically to support sites

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR or similar)
