Skills
- Strong employee relations and formal investigation experience
- Thorough knowledge of US employment laws and compliance (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, EEO)
- Experience supporting multi-site and high-volume/warehouse operations
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and provide strategic recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication and coaching skills
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and policy violations and document findings
- Mediate and resolve conflicts, coach managers on performance management and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with employment laws (ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, FLSA) and conduct regular audits
- Maintain and update employee records, handbooks, and HR policies
- Develop and deliver compliance and HR training programs
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership
- Support organizational change, compensation/benefits analysis, and employee engagement initiatives
- Lead special projects related to culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee experience
- Facilitate exit interviews and analyze turnover trends
- Partner with Operations leadership on workforce planning for warehouse and contingent workforce needs
- Travel up to ~30% domestically to support sites
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR or similar)
