Job Description

  • · Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions with clients, assessing their skills, interests, and goals
  • · Conduct group or one-on-one orientation with clients
  • · Assist clients with job search strategies, resume writing, and interview preparation
  • · Facilitate workshops and seminars on various career development topics
  • · Collaborate with local employers and community organizations to identify job opportunities for clients
  • · Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes
  • · Stay current with job market trends, employment practices, and career development resources
  • · Advocate for clients' needs and provide support throughout their career journey
  • · Obtain and collect employment information from clients
  • · Contribute to the continuous improvement of the TMJ programs

Qualifications

  • · Preferred bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, human resources, or a related field
  • · Proven experience in career counseling or a similar role
  • · Strong knowledge of job search strategies, resume writing, and interview techniques
  • · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • · Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their career goals
  • · Proficiency in time management and problem-solving
  • · Familiarity with local job market trends and employment practices
  • · Understanding of TMJ programs and their specific requirements
  • · Career counseling certification preferred
  • · Demonstrated empathy and ability to build rapport with diverse client populations
  • · Proficiency in using career assessment tools and job search platforms
  • · Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
