Salary/Compensation: $150k – $180k + equity

Our client is seeking a Head of Partnerships who will build their B2B business from the ground up. This is a hands-on, founder-like role where you’ll design the business model, hustle to close the first deals, and scale what works.
You’ll be responsible for developing their entire B2B business model from scratch—defining partnership structures, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies while personally building relationships and closing deals with therapists, coaches, clinics, employee assistance programs, and organizations that want to offer their product as a wellness benefit.
Business Development & Sales
Personally close the first 10–20 partnership deals to validate business models and learn what works
Build and manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting through contract signature
Create sales processes, materials, and playbooks based on real deal experience
Hit revenue targets and establish repeatable growth patterns
Business Model Development
Design and validate B2B business models through customer conversations and closed deals
Create pricing strategies and partnership structures based on market feedback
Define key metrics and success criteria through hands-on experience
Build financial models using real data from closed partnerships
Identify and cultivate relationships with mental health professionals, therapy practices, and wellness-focused healthcare organizations
Build partnerships with corporate wellness programs and employee assistance providers
Develop channel partnerships with benefits platforms and HR technology companies
Create partnership frameworks that complement professional care rather than compete with it
Business Development
Drive B2B2C revenue growth through organizational partnerships and bulk licensing
Create new revenue models and pricing strategies for B2B markets
Build sales processes and materials for professional and organizational buyers
Manage the full partnership lifecycle from initial outreach to contract execution
Market Expansion
Research and identify new market opportunities in corporate wellness, healthcare systems, and educational institutions
Develop go-to-market strategies for professional and organizational segments
Create case studies and ROI frameworks to demonstrate value to potential partners
Represent the company at industry conferences and professional events
Cross-functional Leadership
Work closely with product team to ensure partnership requirements are met
Collaborate with marketing on partner-focused content and campaigns
Partner with engineering on integration requirements and API development
Support customer success in onboarding and retaining organizational clients
Experience
10+ years of business development or partnership experience, with significant time in healthtech, wellness, or B2B SaaS
Experience building new business models and revenue streams, ideally taking products from B2C to B2B2C
Experience selling to healthcare organizations, HR leaders, or benefits decision-makers
Understanding of the mental health/wellness ecosystem and regulatory landscape
