Strategic Account Manager (Remote: US EAST Region)

Veeam, the global leader in data resilience, is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to drive larger deals, accelerate sales cycles, and expand adoption of Veeam Data Cloud and related programs across mid-market and large commercial accounts in the US East region. The role focuses on solution selling, upsell/cross-sell, strong partner collaboration, and executive-level relationship management to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase average deal size through needs assessment and upsell/cross-sell
  • Build and maintain executive-level (C-suite) relationships throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings and travel ~50% for customer and partner engagements
  • Sell Veeam software solutions and leverage partner ecosystem knowledge to position complete solutions
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms by selling value, TCO, and ROI
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and a consistent, healthy pipeline
  • Create and manage account relationship maps and target plans for territory
  • Work closely with channel partners to identify joint-sales opportunities
  • Prepare executive-level proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Assess market needs and competitive landscape while following defined sales processes

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (required)
  • Relevant sales or industry certifications (preferred)
