Strategic Account Manager (Remote: US WEST Region)

Veeam, a global leader in data resilience, is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to drive larger, faster deals within the US West region through solution selling, strategic account mapping, and strong partner engagement. The role focuses on expanding deal sizes across mid-market and large commercial accounts by leveraging Veeam’s product portfolio (including Veeam Data Cloud, TAM, Coveware) and pricing frameworks such as ELAs.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise software sales experience (mid-market and large commercial)
  • Strong executive-level relationship building (C-level)
  • Expertise with Salesforce.com for pipeline and forecasting
  • Solution selling and consultative sales methodologies
  • Experience negotiating enterprise licensing agreements (ELAs) and complex contracts
  • Ability to use data intelligence tools for account mapping and insights
  • Knowledge of channel partner ecosystems
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and conduct in-person meetings

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase average deal size through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Build and maintain C-suite relationships across the customer lifecycle
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings and travel regularly (approx. 50%)
  • Sell Veeam software solutions while leveraging alliance partner offerings and ecosystem
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms using value, TCO, and ROI frameworks
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and consistent pipeline building
  • Create and manage account relationship maps for territory targets and existing customers
  • Collaborate with channel partners to uncover and close new opportunities
  • Prepare executive-level proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Assess market needs and competitive landscape and follow defined selling processes

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (required)
