Strategic Account Manager (Remote: US CENTRAL Region)

Veeam is the global leader in data resilience, protecting more than 550,000 customers with backup, recovery, portability, security, and intelligence solutions. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Strategic Account Manager based in the Central U.S. to drive larger deal sizes and faster sales cycles by effectively solution-selling Veeam products (including Data Cloud, TAM, and Coveware), leveraging ELAs and partner ecosystems, and building strong C-suite relationships across mid-market and large commercial accounts.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise and mid-market account selling experience in software, security, or storage
  • Strong solution selling, negotiation, and pricing skills (including ELAs and TCO/ROI)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and CRM-driven forecasting
  • Ability to build and maintain C-level relationships
  • Comfortable with ~50% travel for customer and partner meetings
  • Experience leveraging channel partner ecosystems to drive sales

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase average deal size through needs assessment, upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships (C-suite) throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Conduct in-person meetings and face-to-face engagements to present tailored solutions
  • Sell Veeam software solutions and leverage alliance partner offerings and ecosystem
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with large commercial enterprises using value, TCO, and ROI frameworks
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and consistent pipeline building
  • Manage key account relationship maps for territory, including existing customers and target accounts
  • Collaborate closely with channel partners to identify and close new opportunities
  • Act as Veeam advocate within customer organizations and customer advocate within Veeam
  • Prepare executive-level proposals, reports, and presentations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (required)
