Head of Partnerships

Check builds embedded payroll infrastructure to help partners launch and scale payroll businesses. They are seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of Partnerships to lead new partner acquisition and post-sales growth, align partner needs with product strategy, and drive measurable revenue outcomes across partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Own vision, strategy, and execution for partner acquisition and post-sales expansion across Sales and Growth teams.
  • Lead and develop managers and senior contributors, driving cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
  • Act as executive sponsor for strategic prospects and partners, ensuring alignment across the partner lifecycle.
  • Surface partner insights to influence product roadmap and GTM priorities, translating product improvements into partner-facing messaging.
  • Establish metrics, forecast discipline, and narratives to clarify partner performance, pipeline health, and growth levers.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to accelerate revenue and joint growth initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required
