Human Resources Business Partner (REMOTE US)

Veeam, a global leader in data resilience protecting over 550,000 customers, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for the AMER region. The HRBP will partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business goals, drive performance and engagement, manage employee relations, and support workforce and succession planning across a matrixed, fast-paced environment.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience in performance management and talent development
  • Proficiency with HRIS and data analytics tools (e.g., Workday, SAP)
  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Experience with workforce planning, succession planning, and change management
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational needs and deliver HR strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Coach and advise managers on talent management, performance management, organizational development, and employee relations
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Employee Relations) to implement programs
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to inform decision-making and identify trends or improvement areas
  • Support change management initiatives and help build a high-performance culture
  • Lead or support employee engagement initiatives and action planning
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters ensuring legal compliance and appropriate resolution
  • Work with leadership on succession planning, career development, and workforce planning strategies
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, HR policies, and internal procedures
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and support occasional travel as required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required
  • Master’s degree in HR or related field preferred
  • HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
