About the Role:

We’re looking for a proven, high-impact talent leader to join us as Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Reporting to the Chief People Office, you will own and deliver a bold, global hiring strategy that enables Camunda’s aggressive growth plans. You will lead and scale a world-class team across Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and Talent Operations, ensuring we consistently attract, engage, and retain top-tier talent worldwide.

This is a build-and-scale role: You will bring deep experience in high-growth environments, a clear track record of meeting hiring targets, and the leadership acumen to inspire high performance. You’ll partner across the business to anticipate hiring needs, architect smart processes, and position Camunda as an employer of choice in every market.

What you'll be doing:

  •  Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a scalable, data-driven global talent acquisition strategy aligned with Camunda’s ambitious growth and organizational objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire the Talent Acquisition Partners, Talent Operations, and Employer Branding teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Drive accountability, agility, and operational excellence.

  • Employer Branding: Build a compelling value proposition (EVP) and create compelling and authentic employer brand campaigns, positioning Camunda as an employer of choice across global markets.

  • Global Talent Acquisition: Drive recruiting excellence, ensuring robust candidate pipelines, exceptional candidate experiences, and agile processes across all hiring needs, from individual contributors to executive leadership.

  • Talent Operations: Optimize recruitment operations, leveraging technology, automation, data analytics, and best practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency and scale.

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, integrating inclusive practices throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle.

  • Metrics and Analytics: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators and recruitment analytics to inform decisions, showcase impact, and continuously improve strategies.

  • Partnership and Collaboration: Partner closely with the executive team and People Business Partners, ensuring alignment and effective workforce planning to support Camunda’s strategic goals. Define, measure, and improve the quality of hire for the business units.

  •  Proven global experience leading talent acquisition strategies and teams within high-growth technology environments.

  • Deep experience in executive hiring, high-volume recruiting, and international expansion.

  • A builder’s mindset - you bring structure, process, and vision to talent acquisition while adapting in real time to shifting priorities.

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive hiring targets through scalable processes and high-performing teams.

  • Visionary thinker with strong strategic planning and execution skills.

  • Inspirational leader adept at fostering high-performance cultures and nurturing talent.

  • Demonstrated expertise in building robust employer brands.

  • Deep understanding of global hiring practices, talent operations, and talent technology.

  • Committed advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, utilizing insights to enhance recruitment effectiveness.

  • Exceptional collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

We offer fair, transparent, and competitive compensation. For new hires, we typically place candidates in the first half of the range, allowing room for growth over time.

Annual Total Cash (base salary + 100% variable, where applicable):

  • United States: $260,000 to $390,000

  • Germany: €222,300 to €333,500

  • United Kingdom: £189,600 to £284,400

If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com (our global employer partner), and your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview.

Equity: We also offer equity (where applicable) through ourVirtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).
