We’re hiring our first Account Executive for API Sales, a trailblazer who will define how we sell our API platform to expert networks, recruitment tech companies, marketplaces, RPOs, and software partners. Your mission is to open new doors, run the full sales cycle, and establish Ribbon’s API as the foundation layer that powers the next generation of recruitment products. You’ll own deals end-to-end, from building the pipeline to closing partnerships that drive scale.
Run the entire sales cycle for API partnerships from prospecting through negotiation and close.
Identify and prioritize expert networks, recruitment platforms, marketplaces, and SaaS vendors who can embed Ribbon’s API.
Collaborate with product and engineering to design scalable partner solutions.
Understand partner roadmaps and uncover how Ribbon’s API can accelerate their product innovation.
Deliver tailored demos, use cases, and proposals that demonstrate ROI and competitive advantage.
Position Ribbon as the “must-have” infrastructure for modern recruitment tech.
Work closely with Customer Success & Engineering to ensure seamless partner onboarding and integrations.
Develop trusted relationships with executives and product leaders to drive adoption and expansion.
Capture market and partner feedback to inform product development and GTM strategy.
Define repeatable sales processes for API partnerships.
Document learnings and share best practices to accelerate Ribbon’s API go-to-market.
Act as the voice of the partner to refine messaging, positioning, and enablement.
API Sales Builder: 3–5+ years of full-cycle sales experience with SaaS APIs, integrations, or platform/marketplace sales.
Quota Crusher: Proven track record of $1M+ annual quota attainment in B2B SaaS or platform sales.
Hunter Mentality: Self-starter comfortable with outbound prospecting, building pipeline from scratch, and navigating technical buyers.
Closer: Strong skills in value selling, technical storytelling, multi-stakeholder negotiation, and closing API/partnership deals.
Consultative Partner: Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders, from CTOs to Product Managers.
Startup Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, scrappy execution, and rapid iteration.
Tech-Savvy: Familiar with APIs, developer ecosystems, and sales tools (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, etc.).
