Sales Development Representative - Segment

Twilio Segment is a remote-first, global communications platform helping developers and businesses deliver personalized customer experiences. The company is hiring Sales Development Representatives to generate new pipeline, engage prospects via multi-channel outreach, and partner with Account Executives to drive new business across developer, SMB, nonprofit and enterprise segments.

Skills

  • 1+ year customer-facing experience
  • Strong direct sales and outbound prospecting skills (calls, emails, video outreach)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and adapt quickly
  • Resilience and goal-orientation to meet quota-driven targets
  • Team collaboration skills to support Account Executives and cross-functional partners

Responsibilities

  • Research and generate prospective customers through outbound calls, personalized emails, and social selling
  • Engage new companies and markets with a multi-channel, value-based approach to build relationships and brand awareness
  • Meet or exceed monthly goals for generating business opportunities to fill the sales pipeline
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports and become proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies, territory plans, and successfully hand off/close opportunities
  • Complete SDR onboarding and ongoing training to master product and outreach techniques

Education

  • No specific degree required; open to diverse backgrounds
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
