Vice President, North America-Strategic Accounts

Smartsheet is a leading collaborative work management platform helping teams automate manual work, uncover insights, and scale. The company is seeking a seasoned enterprise SaaS sales leader to build and lead the Strategic Accounts segment for North America, driving growth across a defined set of high-value Global 2000 accounts through strategic sales motions, executive engagement, and team development.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise SaaS sales leadership and quota attainment history
  • Ability to develop and execute land-and-expand strategies across Global 2000 accounts
  • Track record building executive-level relationships (C-suite)
  • Experience structuring and closing large, complex deals
  • Strong coaching and people development skills
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC and commercial forecasting
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Chorus, Highspot, Clari, Tableau, ZoomInfo, and Smartsheet

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire and develop Regional VPs, Regional Directors and Account Executives for Strategic Accounts
  • Define and execute sales strategy to exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
  • Expand senior executive (C-level) relationships across Strategic Accounts
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales Engineering, Professional Services and Customer Excellence to win complex deals
  • Design and lead pricing, packaging and product positioning for large opportunities
  • Oversee account/territory/opportunity planning, forecasting, and sales methodology execution
  • Coach sales leaders and AEs on a solution-based sales process and account expansion strategies
  • Ensure disciplined usage of MEDDICC and sales tools (Chorus, Highspot, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Clari, Tableau, ZoomInfo)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant sales leadership and enterprise software experience in lieu of formal degree
