Skills
- 10+ years progressive HR/People experience with direct senior leader support and prior people management
- Experience in high-complexity environments (manufacturing, aerospace, supply chain, or engineering-heavy orgs)
- Strong capabilities in employee relations, performance management, coaching, and organizational design
- Ability to operate strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment
- Exceptional judgment, discretion, and written/verbal communication skills under pressure
- Familiarity with California labor law and shift-based or hourly workforce dynamics
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Legal and Total Rewards teams
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary People partner for Relativity Federal, advising senior leaders on org design, talent strategy, and team effectiveness.
- Drive strategic initiatives including succession planning, performance management cycles, and organizational health assessments.
- Identify and proactively address hypergrowth challenges such as retention, role clarity, leadership depth, and workforce stability.
- Manage sensitive employee relations matters (investigations, warnings, PIPs) and provide leadership coaching and guidance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Total Rewards, and Employee Experience to ensure cohesive and compliant People programs.
- Provide tactical HR support where needed while maintaining a strategic view of workforce planning and capability building.
- Build partnerships with frontline and shift-based leadership to align people processes with operational needs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MA, MBA, MS) or HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred
