Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing and development of a major mechanized assembly and its subcomponents.
- Drive assembly build effort through design integration, part sourcing, assembly sequencing, and mBOM development.
- Author build and test work orders, work instructions, and test specifications.
- Support workcenter development including safety, tooling, capital equipment, and operational requirements.
- Provide hands-on support to production personnel; troubleshoot and provide upstream DFM feedback.
- Analyze recurring manufacturing discrepancies and support cross-functional root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with design, production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Support tooling design and tooling development as the manufacturing representative.
Education
- BS in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing engineering or related discipline
- 1+ years experience building and testing hardware in a manufacturing environment
