Human Resources Business Partner

Redwood Materials builds a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products. The HR Business Partner will align HR strategies with the company’s sustainability mission by advising leadership, driving employee relations and organizational development, and enabling data-driven HR programs that scale across the business.

Skills

  • Proficiency with HRIS and HR reporting platforms
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Tableau or similar)
  • Experience handling employee relations and investigations
  • Working knowledge of relevant labor laws and compliance
  • Ability to influence and partner with cross-functional leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Change management and organizational design experience
  • Discretion handling sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Advise leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management strategies.
  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations and resolution recommendations.
  • Act as mediator and advocate to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and deliver HR analytics, dashboards, and reports to inform decisions.
  • Design and optimize scalable HR processes and initiatives to improve efficiency and engagement.
  • Partner with leadership to support change initiatives and drive adoption.
  • Support leadership development, succession planning, and professional growth programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Identify and help mitigate organizational and people-related risks.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required)
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
