Sales Development Manager

OpenSesame is a remote-first, enterprise-focused learning platform that helps Global2000 customers upskill employees through a vast library of courses and AI-enhanced SaaS products. We're hiring a Sales Development Manager to build and scale a predictable, data-driven outbound engine that blends AI automation with human-centered outreach, develops SDR talent, and drives measurable pipeline growth.

Skills

  • Proven experience managing and scaling remote SDR teams with quota responsibility.
  • Strong familiarity with Gong, Salesforce (CRM) and ZoomInfo; experience with outreach and cadence tools.
  • Experience integrating AI tools into outbound workflows for research, messaging and coaching.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring funnel conversion and diagnosing bottlenecks.
  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, RevOps, Enablement and Sales.
  • Ability to design playbooks, run effective coaching sessions and improve rep performance.
  • Experience running account-based outbound campaigns and qualifying enterprise leads.
  • Excellent communication and remote team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and scale the SDR team to consistently generate qualified pipeline and meet quota targets.
  • Design and implement an AI-enhanced outbound operating system including cadences, playbooks, and KPI dashboards.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, Enablement and Partners to align campaigns, improve lead handoffs, and optimize conversion.
  • Use Gong, Salesforce, ZoomInfo and other tools to audit performance, run call reviews, and create a weekly coaching cadence.
  • Establish and track SDR metrics (activity→meeting, meeting→opportunity, velocity) and report impact to leadership.
  • Create career progression framework for SDR→AE and drive talent development and promotions.
  • Optimize inbound routing and implement automation for research, personalization, and post-call workflows.
  • Institutionalize best practices and documentation to support predictable ramp and new-hire onboarding.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Relevant training/certifications in sales enablement, sales leadership or CRM tools are a plus.
  • Demonstrated continuous learning in GTM technology and AI-driven sales tools preferred.
