Commercial Account Executive - Central

MinIO is the industry leader in high-performance object storage powering production infrastructure for many Fortune 500 companies and offering AIStor for large-scale AI and analytics workloads. The company is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across commercial and mid-market accounts, driving new business, expansion, and predictable revenue while working closely with product, marketing, and customer success.

Skills

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS or infrastructure sales with consistent quota achievement
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals in the $50k–$300k range
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and data infrastructure
  • Experience engaging technical buyers (VPs of Infrastructure, Engineering, Enterprise Architects)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and pipeline generation tools (SalesLoft, Outreach)
  • Social selling experience with LinkedIn Navigator
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Forecasting discipline and pipeline hygiene
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, early/growth-stage environments

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business across commercial and mid-market accounts
  • Manage existing accounts to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and drive retention
  • Articulate MinIO’s technical and business value to technical and business stakeholders
  • Partner with Field Architects, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver cohesive customer experiences
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with disciplined forecasting and deal hygiene
  • Use MEDDPICC (or similar methodologies) to qualify deals and drive predictable outcomes
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce
  • Move complex technical deals forward with urgency and clarity
  • Conduct high-quality discovery to uncover real customer pain and expansion potential
  • Establish trusted-advisor relationships with customers building modern data platforms

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
