Sourcebooks is seeking a Regional Indie Sales Manager for the South, responsible for expanding sales and market share in independent bookstores across multiple states, focusing on building relationships and driving sales strategies.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include growing sales in the independent bookstore market, managing sales calls, establishing relationships with bookstores, and curating title lists tailored to each store’s needs.
Skills: Candidates should have at least 3 years of book publishing sales experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and experience in sales strategy and budgeting is essential.
Location: This position is based in Tennessee, covering Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida with extensive travel required.
Compensation: $60000 - $70000 / Annually

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 /annually. We determine starting pay based on a thorough evaluation of job-related factors, including geographic location, market conditions, relevant experience, training, and education. This process ensures a fair and competitive salary that aligns with both the company and the candidate’s qualifications.
