Commercial Account Executive - SoCal

MinIO is the industry leader in high-performance object storage powering major enterprises and modern AI/analytics workloads. The company seeks a Commercial Account Executive to own full sales cycles across commercial and mid-market accounts, driving new business, expanding existing accounts, and helping transition from a product-led to a sales-driven growth motion.

Skills

  • 3+ years B2B SaaS or infrastructure sales with consistent quota attainment
  • Experience managing complex technical deals in the $50k–$300k+ range
  • Comfort engaging technical buyers (VPs of Infrastructure, Engineering, Enterprise Architects)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and pipeline generation tools (SalesLoft, Outreach)
  • Social selling experience (LinkedIn Navigator) and familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar methodologies
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business across commercial and mid-market accounts
  • Manage and expand customer relationships through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Articulate MinIO’s technical and business value to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, customer success, and field architects to deliver outcomes
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with disciplined forecasting and deal hygiene
  • Use MEDDPICC (or similar) to qualify deals and drive predictable outcomes
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce
  • Consistently achieve quota and drive high-quality discovery to uncover pain and expansion potential

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
