Commercial Account Executive - Southeast Region

MinIO is the industry leader in high-performance object storage powering production infrastructure for many Fortune 500 companies. We're seeking a Commercial Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across commercial and mid-market accounts in the Southeast US — driving new business, expanding existing accounts, and communicating MinIO's technical and business value to both technical and executive buyers.

Skills

  • Proven B2B SaaS or infrastructure sales track record with consistent quota attainment.
  • Experience managing complex, technical sales cycles and engaging technical buyers (VPs of Infrastructure, Engineers, Architects).
  • Strong new-business sourcing and closing skills for enterprise/mid-market accounts.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and data infrastructure and ability to articulate business value.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft/Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator).

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across commercial and mid-market accounts.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships through cross-sell and upsell activities.
  • Conduct high-quality discovery to uncover customer pain, technical requirements, and expansion potential.
  • Drive deals through technical validation, pricing, negotiation, and close using MEDDPICC (or similar).
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Architects, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to deliver customer success.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quota with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in business, technology, or sales are a plus.
