HR Generalist - Technology and Innovation

Our client, a global, remote-first technology group operating in the advanced technology space, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and is passionate about building people-first cultures in distributed teams.

As the HR Generalist, you will serve as a key partner across the organization, supporting the full employee lifecycle while contributing to strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions across multiple time zones and jurisdictions
  • Administer and optimize HR programs including benefits enrollment, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across all US jurisdictions where remote employees are based
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data; generate reports and analytics to support business decisions
  • Coordinate and support recruitment efforts including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
  • Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks to reflect current best practices and legal requirements
  • Support payroll processing and coordination with finance on compensation-related matters
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and help cultivate a positive, inclusive remote work culture
  • Partner with leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent retention strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • SHRM Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a generalist capacity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed workforce environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR technology tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in technology‑related or financial industries
    • Background supporting international or globally distributed teams
    • Familiarity with compliance requirements in technology environments
    • Experience with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
    • Knowledge of global HR practices and cross-border employment considerations

·       Salary: $115,000 – $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience
